Default replacing convertible top

Anyone know about how much it should cost to replace a convertible top? Just the top, not the mechanics etc...

I had mine (MY2000) replaced last year for about $1800 all in. That was for the GAHH (same material as original) with a double-stitched plastic window.

Btw - if your window is still intact and you are just unhappy with the look of the top you can clean it and condition it with Raggtop products.

Mine was also around $1600. I would look at all authorized gahh installers in your area and call for quotes. Check with your local pca chapter, they may recommend someone.

Mine cost $2000 (parts and labor), but I didn't have the dealership do it and the top is an aftermarket and looks and fits better than the OEM versions.

Where are you located Rock?

Is your top damaged (i.e. ripped) or just wrinkled with sun fade?

I use Maquires too, but for the canvas top - Raggtopp sealant!
