((GREAT NEWS)) - AHSAI responded!
My dear forum friends,
Our friend Ahsai responded to me in email and is doing fine, but because of changes related to COVID-19, he's had to take a break from the forums while focusing on working from home.
He sends us his greetings in good health! (see email cc below)

Don't know what started this thread but I concur that he is a very valuable member of this and other forums. Not only for his engine thread but his vast knowledge of the electrical systems is astonishing and he is always willing to help people with problems. I always seek out and read his posts as it is always a learning experience. It does not surprise me that he is a good human being, as well!

Wow, thank for all the kind words, guys! Doesn't deserve a thread lol
I'm always happy to help and share whenever I have a chance so I can share the joy and satifaction of diy, successful troubleshooting, and understanding how our cars work. I truly think that adds to the overall Porsche ownership experience.
The "gift" was just a small value gift card that's not worth mentioning at all. It's really nothing compard to Groov's generousity and time of giving and shipping his combination switch to help someone halfway around the world in France (twills99) and then me. Really appreciate the act of kindness. Truly impressed by some members here.
Btw, my engine rebuild has been put on hold as I've been too busy with my family but I'm hopeful to restart it before the end of this year.

Yeah he is super cool. Offered advice and then offered to pay for a test kit I bought that didn't indicate the issue I had... Unheard of integrity on the inter webs....
