Well, guess I'm not really the Volvo type. I got 2 Alfas and 2 P-cars and the wife is driving Saab. Talking about her, I don't really want to go into costs specifically. Let's just say it was expensive but good value for money- for me...
As of other numbers I can divulge I got 350 hp on the wheels from 6k to 7.5k and 400 nm from 4000 and upwards (don't know the conversion to feet lbs or whatever). What that means on the crank is up for your to ponder, but for me it means a bit north of 400hp. YMMV
On that note I can tell you a little prank I played on an advanced driving training where I am an instructor. There where two guys one with a 996 TT and one with a 991.2S. They came to me after the more advanced part where we do racing simulations and ask how it comes they do not gain any on the straight. Well, I said, trying to keep my face straight, you know it is absolutely pivotal that you nail the exit if you want to have a decent end speed. The guys looked so humbled I actually admitted my car was a bit tuned (I told you I was a softie). Exhaust. Maybe som mapping. And stuff...
cheers
