GT2 front spoiler
I finally cracked my front spoiler coming of an elevated intersection here in the Tampa area and am in need of a replacement. I hate to shell out $400+ for something that's going to get scraped and beat up again very quickly due to the way the roads are here for drainage for the sudden monsoon rains that hit, but I haven't been able to find any reasonable options aside from OEM.
Any have any recommendations or experience with other options? I see more GT3 splitters avail but I'm assuming it won't fit will it? I haven't been able to find an answer on this one
Thanks!

OEM or Joe Toth is our selection AFAIK

Good to know. Looks like Joe Toth is about $100 more than OEM. Will likely purchase OEM and as much as I hate to, drive around without it on unless going to a gathering or track

I sent my spare one out to have a mold made by Spoonfed Tuning but have not completely dedicated funds to cover the entire thing yet. If a few of us got together we could get a small run made.

I pulled mine off today to do a repaint and it just fell apart. It had been obviously repaired once before, but I'm just going to get a new one as it is pretty beat up. I have found two on the net but no reviews:
http://gettydesign.com/996tailbases/...and-splitters/
https://carbonfiberhoods.com/vsaero-...8aAnY9EALw_wcB
I may try the Getty Design, IDK. That other one seems sketchy.
Edit: I talked to Getty on the phone and they said their splitter will not be an exact fit to OEM GT2 and will need adjusting like any fiber part. I'll just bite the bullet on sun coast.

That carbonfiberhoods unit looks to be a great option for what is basically a consumable item.
Anyone try one ?
If not I may step up and replace the factory unit on mine.
What is really needed is a molded "rubber" unit.

She's not a real GT2, "just" at Turbo with GT2 parts optioned from the factory and Arena Red PTS. I wold have taken her out yesterday and today in beautiful weather for some pictures......but of course my splitter is broken. #sadface

Called a local dealer here in FL who sells a lot of parts online and they said they had one in stock. I order it right after I got off the phone, order update comes 2 hours later and they tell me it's delayed, will be late next week before they get one. I emailed them back to confirm that they had one in stock when I called but now it was sold. They said yes, they sold 3 this week. I find that hard to believe with so few GT2s being in existence but maybe everyone on this thread went and bought one all last week?
Only thing I can think of is 996TT with GT2 front bumpers and they bought them? Or the dealer is blowing smoke up my a$$ trying to save face from an accidental misstatement on availability. Not a big deal, just curious to know others opinion on 3 being sold last week, I very well may be wrong and these are a hot item that gets sold all the time
