Interesting, as it’s almost my car’s twin except no leather interior option. Polar silver (looks way better in person), high miles, and body work. Surprised it went for what it did, but tells you how much the market has changed. I bought mine for almost half 5 years ago and want to say there was only one other bidder probably looking for it REAL cheap. It required some money up front as nearly all used cars do, but I consider it a steal of a deal. Money saved just went towards the 3.8L rebuild.

My GT2 has similar criteria, higher miles at 71k and minor accident on the CarFax ($2800, fixed by Porsche dealer, no air bags deployed or even close to that), I was side-swiped the day I was driving it home after purchase. Someone I spoke to about a year and a half ago when I had it for sale called me out of the blue last month and wanted to discuss buying it again, they told me they were thinking around $100k. Not a bad offer considering the history on my car and miles but not something I would accept right now and it wasn't for sale anyways.

100%. 70k miles on a mezger is nothing. Tranny on the other hand, that depends on how it was treated! I would not hesitate a second to buy a 6-2 with 100k miles as long as not exclusively used as a track car!
