Default (New to me) cobalt GT3

Hello all! I'm proud to say after 15 years I finally locked down my first GT3. I picked up this cobalt blue beauty from a fellow rennlister and can not wait to start getting it dialed in.

Initial plans:

1) Paint correction / touchup. Pacific Match Paint is turning up tomorrow to fill in all the stone chips and clean up the rash behind the wheels. Nothing crazy, just a bit of touchup to get it looking as good as possible while preserving the original paint.
2) Gold BBS E88's.
3) Euro buckets
4) Full exhaust system (does anyone have any recommendations?) I am thinking sharkwerks or fabspeed currently. I'm looking for cup car level sound here - neighbors be dammed.
5) Trans regear and throttle mapping.

I'm already obsessed with this car. The freight train pull from the engine is intoxicating.

Great spec! Cobalt Blue for the win, you will love this thing! As a fellow Elise owner however I will say for day in and out urban hooning the Elise is more fun. The GT3 has way more absolute capability and is better for high speed work, not to mention it sounds 100x better but an Elise is just silly fun. The good news is it looks like you have both and they have different use cases.Enjoy!

Awesome spec on that car, congrats! Sounds like a good plan so far. For exhaust, Dundon might sound the best but is very expensive. I recently put the speedtech lemans system (sport cats + "mufflers") on my car and it sounds great, very loud, and a fair amount of weight savings.

What a great car and color!
I would think more about going to those wheels. Just my two cents.
The best ever GT3 without any nannies and wonderful steering sensitivity.
Still a joy to drive on the street and especially the track even though my arm is out for the passing signal.

Congrats. Had mine a long time and still enjoying.
Depending on what you want to do I’d spent the money on suspension over re-gear or that is what I did.
I have black/gold and love it. Here is friend/rennlist members blue/gold. I think it looks fantastic but silver would also be fine.
Enjoy!

Glad you're enjoying the car- I miss it already...

BTW, it has a Speedtech X-pipe with cats installed. They have a sport muffler option that may work for you- if you don't want to change the whole exhaust. Or if you want it loud- just install those bypass pipes!
