Exclamation 996 Fuel Tank Questions

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if I could get confirmation on the size of these two tanks from anyone here.

The cup tank is 996.201.013.91

The other tank is has 966.201.013.90 imprinted on it
On the sticker label
996.201.013.90

I'm hoping one of these is the 90L version.

Many thanks in advance.

According to the Cup PET I have for a 2005 Cup, 996-201-013-81 is the 90L tank. Didn't find a reference for 996-201-013-90 or -91. That -90 or -91 tank may be a larger 100L tank.

Hi Toby, yes, this is the problem I'm having. Trying to confirm what both these tanks are. I can find separate information about them on many different sites, but nothing confirms their size.

The second tank certainly looks larger than most but once again, not enough images or anyway I've found to confirm it.

The tank pictured up top labeled "Cup tank 1" is the 67L tank. That is what I have in my car. The tank labeled "996GT3 tank 2" below it is the 90L tank.

There are lots of typos in PET. The easiest way to tell what you have is very simple. The 67L tank has one lid, the 90L tank has 2 lids.

There is no such thing as a 100L tank.

This is my '00 c2 tank next to the '04 gt3 tank i swapped in. They r identical other then the internal ring that the fuel pump snaps into. Sorry i dont have a pic of the part number. It is a 67l tank and was in a gt3 car.
