Priced too high. That's what it hasn't sold. Supply and demand.....

I follow the "20-year old sports car" market pretty closely since that is what I am interested in. My take is that these cars (but also other marques) are sort of occupying a "middle ground" right now between useable and collectible, but are trending towards collectible. But with that said, the "collector" quality examples are still commanding good premiums (see the recent $400k plus 996 gt2 sale). Because the dudes buying those low mile cars to store as museum pieces don't flinch at interest rates or macro economic conditions. But any kind of "driver" example is getting battered right now because many people who would normally buy these to drive them often finance at least a part of the purchase price, and right now that doesn't feel palatable to most of those buyers! That's my take at least. On the plus side, cars like this (clean, super cool/rare color, limited production numbers for the model, etc...) are definitely going up in price, so I say buy the dip and enjoy the cars with some miles and then you won't loose any money! I would buy this if I were in the market right now for a 6-3, no question.

I am sure it does not help that the car is located in Buffalo, MN. Certainly not a plus. Also, with almost 50K miles on the clock the price seems a little on the high side.

Mine? or the GT3? I think both are awesome, and Im likely to keep the one I own for a while.

Besides with a 3.8 in it now and GT3 coilovers they are basically the same car, right?

Sorry. The blue one. Although a GT3 in any color works for me.

haha I agree with you. A GT3 in Cobalt blue is 1/15 or 1/18 depending on who's selling, oddly enough it feels like half a dozen have been for sale in the last year, so that's a large percentage

If somebody offered $105k for my '05 996 GT3, my wife would wrestle them to the ground, take their money and hand them the keys.

The wrestling part sounds interesting.

Doesn’t look like a 996 GT3 with the color and the front bumper, personal opinion only of course.
