Ditto, neighbor put about 4k on his w/o any problems. Said the recall on the A-arms was overblown. I had some probs with head room w/a helmet on. Interior features, nothing special but thats not why it was built.

A couple of clowns took one without paying from the showroom in Manteca the other day.
The Ford dealer was quoted as saying that they are selling for $300,000. I thought that was good for a chuckle.

I'm old enough to have seen the originals race and love the look of the new one. Someone who lives near me (who I don't know) has one and it sounds and looks great. ( I passed him once last summer when in the 914- gave him and his wife the and they totally ignored me. Wish I'd been in the GT3...
If I had unlimited deposeable income or won the lottery (tough to do as I've never bought a ticket) I'd have one.

Watt,
Believe it or not. Right here in lil ole Augusta GA, we have four. And two of the guys are friends of mine. One guy drove his from the dealership to his garage,(red one) and thats where its been for 4 months. The other guy (dark blue)drive his a good bit.
They are beautiful cars, the fit and finish is....well a bit cheap looking up close. They are fast and handle very well. But its not real....errr exciting.
My friend that has blue one also has a Roock RST 650 car. It will blow the GT away.
They look great, don't sound that good, and up close look cheap. If I were going to spend 175k.....it wouldn't be on this
BTW, the other two ...one is yellow and the other is white.

I like the heritage combo with the gulf blue, not sure that i would buy one though. they market them as collectible but plan on producing 4000. price should drop a lot faster than a gt2

Watt, you are my new mentor. I thought that I would get a GT3 when they dropped to 85K, but I paniced and bought a new one. Jeez, only 18 months later! Maybe I will pick up at GT when they get to 90K, like around next year.

Watt,
You might want to take a look here if you haven't already: Ford GT forum
Anyway, my friend picked up his GT (w/2 miles on it) in November. He has only been able to put about 500 miles on it since then, but he is very, very happy w/the car. The one thing we noticed which seems to be common is that the cars are leaving the factory with the small "bumpers" near the latches for the rear clamshell are misaligned so that one side sits higher than the other and the clamshell won't close properly.
It takes two minutes and a wrench to correct the problem.
