Hard Wired V1 (Thanks Gioel!!!!!)
Here are a few pics of her. Enjoy!
I will be taking her to the track 2-3 December up to VIR for a weekend of bonding time
I will give a full writeup at that point. But I can say this. This acceleration is mind-numbing and the sound of the flat-6 at the top of the power band in intoxicating! Oh yeah, and the brakes will throw you eyes right out of your skull. I can't imagine what happens when I get the RS19's or 29's and new fluid in there for the track event.
This car is everything I hoped it would be and more. Thanks to everybody for helping me finally made the decision to get this fine machine. I feel like a kid all over again.
From the other night when I got her home:
Ok, so a 2.5 hour flight to Ft Lauderdale from Raleigh and then an 800 mile drive home (10 hrs!) and I am finally home and have introduced her to her new roommate
Here she is all snug in the garage after the long trek back to North Carolina.
I can't tell y'all how pooped I am right now. I need a martini and some rest.
Pics and writeup to come this weekend.
Thanks to all (especailly Marcelo and Gioel) for making this happen. Glad to finally be a part of the 3 club
Cheers,

Let me be the 1st to congradulate you on the buy. I know you've been looking for a long time. Finally the 3 is home..........
You know based on your past rants about price and depreciation, we have to ask, how much?

Pete. one meeeeeeeeelyon dollars
Thanks B! My *** is still asleep. I think I lost feeling somewhere around Savannah, GA. Those damn GT3 Euro seats are great on the track but not made for 800 mile treks.

Raleigh to Ft Lauderdale in 10 hours - sounds like a great way to bond with the car! Hope you had a Val 1 watching over you.
Congrats. My time is coming soon (est completion date 12/1). I spent the past weekend at VIR, and my friend graciously allowed me to drive his brand new (3600 miles) '04 gt3. WOW!!! I can hardly wait for mine.
