GT2 WITH ALL-WHEEL DRIVE?

Three Wheelin'
Guys, I have a GT2 sitting in the garage right now that has the uber rare 4x4 option. It's the best. I'm kicking around the idea of selling it. What do you think it's worth?

I love it when people beleive what they read on Ebay. makes someone more money. My God son, GT2 are two wheel drive....that's it, end of story. I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you, after you buy a 4wd GT2.

Yep, and I know where Osama Bin Laden lives too...... Honestly, I had dinner with him last week......... In fact, did I mention he owns a 4wd GT2? He needs it to get away from the Nato Troops..... It's jacked up all round, does a great job of sand dunes....

that is what i was looking for.
Dry sump and displacment of 3.6 litres. I know some parts have the same material used, but yes compression and various other items have been devloped specificically for forced induction and thus lower compression too. Thats a given. I didnt assume a turbo was just bolted on if thats what you thought i was saying.
Both GT2 and GT3 have derived from the GT1.
And im aware they are all different. But the GT motor series are all serious motors based on the same high tech race technology/parts $$ when compared to street sister carrera motors.

Regarding the 996 Turbo (M96/70, 70E) and 996 GT2 (M96/70S, 70SL) engine, they are quite similar.
The 70S is internally identical to the 70 and externally had :
- KKK-K24 Turbos (as the 70E engine fitted in the X50-kit and Turbo S models).
- Different mufflers
- Different intercoolers
- Different ECU
- Different airflow with mods.
The 70SL engine had some minor internal change.
Hope this clarify somewhat.

GT3 and GT2 engines are quite different. They are both derivatives from the 964 M64 engines just as the 993 engines (including the GT1). This is about as far as it goes. The differences would be a long list.

Interesting...... the GT2 engine has more in common with 911 turbo then i thought.
interesting indeed.
Hope this clarify somewhat.
