Default Biarritz White 996 GT3 Club Sport

Hi there,
I was fortunate to buy the only Biarritz White 996 GT3 Club Sport in the UK recently. Its a 1999 model early build one of the first 7 to be imported to the UK.
Looks and drives great - with the help of KW v 3 suspension ( Manthay spec) and Alcon 6 pots up front.
Anyone else have a BW GT3 , I believe this is the basic shell colour of the cup cars of this era, its a nice warm white , not like a fridge ( sorry RS owners )
Having great fun on track , as you can see ......

And posing more sedately...

great car, welcome. Enjoy the winter and those narrow roads. My father is from Markinch, a little town in Fife county. Had a great tim a couple of years back golfing and riding motorcycles.

My favourite pic is this , lifting a wheel on track ( Knockhill , Scotland , first corner ) in the fading light.

Nice shot of a very pretty car. Those blue wheels look better than I would have imagined.

I believe the US didn't get the GT3 until the Mk II which would be 2004 onwards.....

Correct...

Mk 1 GT3s 1999 - 2001 (Europe and maybe SA and Oz?) and Mk2 GT3s 2003 - 2005 (worldwide).

That Biarritz is the only one of it's kind of the Mk1s in UK and only one of 25 CSs that came to old blighty originally. God knows how many still exist...

Lovely car!

Hi and welcome - if you want to travel south for Oulton Park on 6 March 2009 there is a Porsche "RS" day - mainly GT3/2 and various RS porsches from all over the UK - organised by Easytrack. Well worth a visit.

Enjoy the car!
