Default GT3 @ Porsche of Colorado Springs and 1st post

Hello Everybody,
This is my first post on rennlist, and I'm glad to finally be here. I've been checking out rennlist for a while, and don't know why I waited so long to join. I currently do not own a Porsche , I do have 2 e30 m3's and an e46 m3, but all I really want is a 996gt3. Anyhow, I have a question. I am in the market for a 6GT3, and I am interested in the '04 black on black at Porsche of Colorado Springs with 14,800K miles,pccb, and one previous owner, I believe it spent it's life in Oklahoma. Does anyone here know anything about this car? It seems like a pretty good deal to me. $65K, 15K miles, and pccb and a clean carfax. What do you think? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer. Oh yes, I did a search on rennlist and could not find anything about this car. Thanks!

there are plenty of low mileage California GT3's on the market right now...take a look at posts in this section...I would say that Gen I pccb's are not necessarily a bonus (the mileage on that car is low enough that if it hasn't been tracked the rotors could be ok)...I don't know the history of that car but someone on this board probably does...pm Mooty he knows all the California cars that are for sale...

///msw3-
I have owned 4 E30 M3's and still have one. GT3 was my first and only P-car to date. You will love it coming from a 'Real M3'. I assume you are on the Sig?

I love the e30 m3s, and the e46 is fun too, but you have the ultimate, sport evo. That is definitely on my 'wanted' list. Is your sport in the states? I spend most of my time on s14.net, but do check the sig on and off.
Thanks for the info guys, i appreciate it. Maybe i should ask porsche of colorado to switch the gen 1 pccb for some steel I guess that's a long shot.

I can check the car for you if needed. I looked at it the other day, while browsing their inventory.

Bottom line, mtn 3 knows this car.

Thanks for the offer, thats very nice of you. I would first like to find out about the car from mtn 3, as I would hate to waste your time if it turns out that the car has known issues. They said the car was checked over thoroughly, and that it is in great shape...?

roberga, I sent you a PM

///msw3, Not a problem at all. Weather is great today so I may just have a look at the exterior of this car again. When I last looked at it the front chin spoiler was missing. Not a big deal as that is a wear and tear item held on by plastic rivets and doubled sided tape (dealer should replace it).

I could arrange to do a test drive and see if the issue is gone.

If you drive it do a heavy accel in 2,3,4 and lift off accelerator quickly. The car used to step to the left. Owning a gt3 you will feel it if still present.
Other than that the car was in great shape, it was heart breaking to see it go away. Fourtutely I found another.

Enthusiast where in co are you?
