Default What does a pair of OEM seats cost?

Mint condition, red stitching, taken out of the car when new for GT3 seats.

Pete, I've seen stock US sport seats go from between $1-$2K depending on condition, etc., although closer to $1K seems to be the going rate.

Yours if basically never sat in, then I would say $1500 for a quick sale and closer to $2K if you want to hold out for more.

Just noticed your 944 for sale. I haven't been following RL much as of late so I don't recall why you are selling.

Thanks for the price check Dell. Someone wants to buy the seats, I had no idea what they were going for, but knew they exchange hands here on RL quite a bit.

Selling the race car to spend more time with the family. Oldest is entering high school and youngest in middle school. Race tracks are all hours away from where I live and don't want to have any regrets once they are out of the house. I've only race twice this year.

GT3's a keeper however

Totally understand. Sold the spec boxster the same month I finally took delivery of the build and have decided to do the same. Now I'm doing about 3-4 DE's a year and go more for the social aspect and to help coach some of our local guys.

Been thinking of getting a miata or 944 for the track since the Turbo is just not a track car as much as I try to make it one. Just ask Scott how well it handles on track.

It also depends on the color.. there's a lot more black seats vs. other color.. I have seen other color commanding more $$$, BUT, the audience for those seats are smaller, of course.. so supply 'n demand.. !

I'll need to start doing the work on finding out what they are selling for and where to look. Just in the prelim stages but think it's a smart decision in order to keep tracking and not worrying about the cost as much.

Trying to reduce my cash outlay, not increase it! Besides, whatever I get next, the wife needs to approve since she will be getting back on track after a short layoff to have a few children.

I'm sure she'll approve a GT3 buy my old car from Alex.

I officially "lost it" when I put my GT3 up for sale in the first place. I just want her to stay in capable hands.

I was once upon a time "capable hands". Now? Not so much.
