Isn't it just an RS wing (clone)? And yes, RS wings make more downforce than the standard wing.

I was very close to doing just this as soon as I saw the ad. Just could not pull the trigger. Like my RS too much although a completely track ready package at the price was very appealing. If I did not have my current car would have done it.

The rs wing help makes the rear oh so planted in the rear in high speed kinks. I drive flat out with rs wing. Stock wing it's kinda edgy and needs a little finessing. Mike

Kind of new to the Porsche world and saw the post this morning. Exchanged some E-mails with seller right away but learn something today... IF YOU LIKE THE CAR, MOVE FAST!

I can't believe that I missed this one by a few hours. I need a local to come over and punch me in the face, any volunteer? I guess I'm next in line if it doesn't happen but somehow I doubt my turn will come up It would have simply been perfect for me, all the right mods.

Well, I moved as fast as I could but still had to have a few questions answered. E-mailed seller, to his credit, replied very promptly to all my questions. I was ready to pull the trigger... this is where I messed up ... went to a meeting came out and BANG deposit already done by another buyer. The poor guy in my office when I saw this collected my disappointment!

The only way the other buyer could have been faster is by already knowing the car, which I suspect is the case. Still a slight chance he backs out from the deal...

I was already in the process of buying a local one so might end up with that one, just not as perfect of a match as this one for me.

Don't take it personally. The OP has been around for a long time and has cared for/documented the time with his car very well. A lot of members "know" the car.

Not to change topic, but do you have a trailer you use for this car? I am also in NC and current shopping for a used light weight trailer

Scott, sorry to see it go for you, but congrats on the sale. Not a surprise it went so fast, no other car has been cared for better or documented as well as yours.

Hope to see you at VIR some time in the future.

Best,

J

The car that is offered gotta say "shoot first ask questions later". Great rl guy car well documented no real stories ie no brainer. The buyer is grinning ear to ear!!! Mike

Standing in line like a good boy waiting for my turn to "shoot"... haven't been told that the transaction happened yet and shamelessly hoping the current buyer pulls out...
