But I can tell already, with my short time with her that I don't even come close to tapping her full potential on the street. She belongs on the track.
Looking to get dedicated track wheels and tires. Thinking of some Volk TE-37's in black would look real swell.

Yes, I got the car from Tom, a good friend of mine. All work was done at Rutners in Freeport. Car is pretty solid. Steel rotors. The carbon rotors are sitting in the box. Fittings have not been addressed yet. It has a new rear main seal and guard LSD along with fab speed exhaust and 997 gt3 shifter. Carbon Fiber GT3 RS wing. Recaros with roll bar and harnesses. Besides the coolant fittings and wheels, I don't think there's much more for me to do. She is track ready.

Three Wheelin'
You may want to consider fixing the fittings soon since you are tracking it.however, that is $$$$$. (6-8k) Fittings, all hoses, water pump, fuel filter, plugs, spark plug wires, et etc ie anything that deteriorate on a 10 yr old car.
In the mean time, suggest you replace porsche coolant with water wetter.

If you do your own labour, parts for coolant fix comes in around $1300 for everything, W/P, hoses, thermostat,o-rings, reservoir, etc.. huge list of anything that can be refreshed while in there, I can post it or PM if anyone want it (picked around a GT2 so might be a few part number switches).
Cheers,

If and when you address the coolant fittings u should also have them check the intake manifold hoses. I've had 3 pop(1 pop then 2 at the same time) on me due to aging cracking pos rubber hoses. Red is the fastest : ). Mike
