Recommendation for a PPI near Chicago/Barrington IL
I'm back - found an '04TT Cab and am looking for a good shop for a PPI. Dealer willing to let the car off the lot (at least that's the feeling I got from their voicemail, have not called back yet). Do not know if they would drop car off or if shop would pick car up. Another high miler -88k, same as my '04C4S Cab, LOL. TIA.

PPI
Thanks for the responses. I am still working with the dealership as far as price and if they plan on doing the 90k service. IIRC that is considered a major service point. Would really like them to do that both to save me some major dinero and peace oi ming driving back to StL if we can hammer out an acceptable deal. I'll take any and all up on your offers for a Rennfax. I went through this process with Ellis Porsche down in Atlanta with a similar car but the PPI came back with too many warts for my taste. That's when I ended up in my C4S Cab. For me it's the body more than the turbos.

Hey, I'm not sure if you still need the list but here's a list of PPI shops in IL that have been recommended by Rennlisters. PPI Shops in Illinois

Thanks to all
Just want to say thanks to all that responded. After several weeks of no responses to my emails about questions I finally got ahold of a sales rep. They wholesaled the car and did not take it off their website. Go figure - I thought my inquiries and requesting a PPI would have shown interest. Oh well, I suppose the old adages of "Money Talks, BS Walks" holds true here.

They seem to be behind the times when it comes to technology. I called and Rick said he does not provide a PDF or formal form report, nor does he take or provide any pictures. Does he just give you a verbal summary of the inspection? 😅
