Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help with a shifting issue I'm having. When I use first gear taking off hard, it shifts in to second slower than it should. Causes what feels like a half a second rev up before it drops into second. None of the gears slip at all and 2nd through 5th shifts as it should. I just bought the car and am not sure what the previous owner might have done or added. Thanks !!

Someone else here posted about the exact same issue a few months ago. The only advice I can give you is have the fluid and filter changed. Then maybe have trans checked out by someone who really knows them. Where are you located?

It also might help if you could post a video of the issue?

Hey , thanks for the response. First thing I did was have the fluid and filter changed. Unfortunately no change . I’m in Nashville TN. I don’t really know anyone who is a transmission tech on these cars . I guess I’ll have to start looking . Maybe I can find the other thread also.

I agree. Run it in Manual mode and see how she does.

TCU adaptions reset? Is the trans filled correctly? Trans mount ok?

Normal behavior. It’s mapped to start in second. In manual mode this behavior is also normal. Tips hate being in first gear.
