Gentleman, my apologies on two counts. First I meant to send that as a pm to the guy with the gearbox. And secondly the typo that has led some of you to email off into space.

For starters, it appears some of you don’t know who I am. I am Matt Monson, the owner of Guard Transmission. So when you ask who made them… I made them at my company.

the quick version is this is a stillborn product. The guy I was working with on it years ago disappeared right as they got finished.

What needs to be done from here? We need 1 shop who has a gearbox/car to fit one and make sure they are right and properly fit.

once that is done, they can be sold.

Thank you. I hope something can happen with your units to make them available.

Ive been trying to get this effort back on track again. With the help of some members here I feel we’ve been heading down the right path but if you have a possible solution, we might be reinventing the wheel. I might be willing to have my car be the test car. We can continue discussing it here or via email (since we’ve already emailed).

Send me another email and let’s talk. I’d love to finally see one in a car.

What a potentially cool development for the platform after these many years, and for what would so significantly improve those Tip cars. Kudo's also to GTGears for keeping the dream alive and possibly helping others be able to properly throttle steer their 911 Turbos.

Well folks, things are on the way to me. Donated TIP by Aaron is currently touring the USA (I guess that’s the price for paying for cheap freight). Prototype parts also on the way. I’ll be a bit busy in the next couple of months but I hope have have good news by June 🤘

I'm glad it's not sitting in a scrapyard.
