Question Help! Rear wing deploying erratically

I have had the eRam kit installed for a couple years. It's a fantastic fix. It solved the hydraulic leaking problem, but under hard acceleration (99%of the time) the wing will deploy, and I'm still getting the spoiler failure light and the wing will stay up until I stop the car and shut it off and turn the key back on to lower it from the switch inside the car,

Anyone have any idea what the problem is? I had a new eRam wiring harness installed and it didn't solve the problem . Any help would be appreciated.

Tony

Have you talked to Dave at Rennkit?

it sounds like either an installation issue, or the control module for the eRams is malfunctioning.

I spoke with Dave a while ago. He suggested the new wiring harness.

I thought someone told me there were fuses or modules in the backseat of the car underneath the carpet? Tring to figure out if it's some other wiring, fuse, or module other than the eRam

It was happening prior to the install as well. It's got to be something other than the harness and module. I thought the eRAM would solve the problem.

Yes, your thinking is correct. There is something wrong with signal being sent from the ECU to raise the wing. You might need to datalog the process as it is happening with service computer.

You also might want to change the title of your thread. This is not a “Help, Eram” thread, it is a, “Help, my wing is not functioning properly” thread…

I have a 2003 Midnight Blue car, and I get this every once in a while. My car is tuned and has the eRam kit. I figure there's some sort of computer issue, but I suspect it could be the Midnight blue paint

I didn't tune the car by I suspect it does. I purchased it bone stock meaning original exhaust, suspension, wheels etc, but the car has a forge diverter valve on it.. Made me wonder

You might have a mild tune. I would start by having the ECU scanned.
