I see that should fit as is though tight. It's the 997 Gt3 that has the longer buckle and it threads through the seat hole. Maybe an option.

Thanks for the info. Would the sliders from a 993 also be the same?

No idea about 993 stuff. Another idea is to create your own bracket to raise the buckle to wherever works for you. I bought this bracket and modified it to fit what I wanted when I installed my sparcos but I have drills and grinders, all the tools.

I don't believe have has any issues with the buckle. That buckle is the correct buckle for those seats.

I reused my stock 996 seat belt receptacles on my Euro GT3 seats without any fitment issues at all.

Widen the holes on the mounting bracket and push them outwards or bend the bracket a bit.

Does anyone know if there any other bolt options out there that might work?

Grind the head down to 1/2 thickness or buy a button head allen bolt.

Do you know what size and pitch would be needed?

Nope but u can use the fixture at most hardware and autoparts stores. Just screw the original into it and figure out what it is. U may have ro order the bolt. If i had to guess its a m10 x1.0 or 1.25

They look like this

Thanks. Turns out its a M12 ~20mm 1.25, which is not easy to find. Starting to wonder if it is really worth all the hassle....

The seats are definitely worth the hassle...I'd say if you're really that fed up, get the BK mounts and not worry about the silly block.

I sure hope so. I am not a fan that these dont fold as I have two young boys that like to ride along and that is why they need to slide forward.

I am pretty sure they are actually an SAE 7/16-20 bolt.

Is the bolt the problem? I thought the buckle was too tight between the bolster and the console. Also these seats effectively turn your car into a 2 seater. With mine on factory sliders if I put one all the way forward and one all the way back I can just barely fit between them in the middle. I don't think the GT3 seats are any more forgiving. If I were in the back and there was an emergency I don't think I could get out of the car in a reasonably safe amount of time.
