Default RUF Aero Mirrors

Does anybody know if RUF Aero Mirrors are available anywhere around the world? From what I can see, these are NLA and cannot be ordered from RUF directly. I love the look of them and am trying to find a solution for the ugly side mirrors of my 996 turbo. Any other options or intel?

Thank you.
Frankie

They're hard to come by. I had an opportunity to buy a set from John awhile back but the timing was bad and I couldn't spend the cash at the time (still kicking myself for not doing it anyway).

Another good looking option is Cup mirrors, though they aren't power.

I heard there were some issues with cup mirrors bolting directly up with the proper weather stripping. Havent seen any actually mounted.

I have the 996Cup mirrors (997Cup is the same) on my 996Cup doors. I'm no sure how you would mount them on a stock door without some modifications as the mounting hole arrangement is different. The Cup mirrors are also very flimsy plastic, they look quite cheap. Not sure that would go well with a nice street car. They do weight next to nothing however, a few ounces each.

The RUF mirrors I sold a year or two ago were very nice. The only disadvantage, just like the Cup mirrors, is they are non folding and thus can break rather easily if run into as they are relatively fragile.

My buddy Jason put Cup mirrors on his stock doors. I don't know how he did it, it was surely a lash-up to get them on there.

I'd never notice those mirrors are different from stock one way or the other.

email their USA site directly. They'll respond. I believe price today is around $4500 give or take a few bucks. That's with everything you need to bolt up, grills/intakes, etc.

Cup mirrors can be made to work, but like John said, they're kinda cheapish for a street car.

I'm sure a good body shop could get them filled in nicely and painted no? To make them work do you need to drill into the existing door frame? Would love to see photos on non cup doors.
