Default -- Gt2 VS Turbo -- Intercooler Physical difference

Hi,

I am a little concerned. I purchased a set of used Gt2 intercoolers and once I had my Turbo intercooler removed (no X50), I realized that they are physically the same.... They have the same number of row, the same depth, width and height and even the weight is the same. The only thing that is different, is the part number on the intercooler (it has not been altered IMO).

The part number on the Gt2 intercooler is 996 110 989 70 and 996 110 990 70 and both has AKG 10/01 sticker on them.

Is that normal or did I got scammed ?

You got scammed. The GT2 coolers are slightly larger; you can see the ribs, about 3/8 inch larger. Take a closer look! It`s quite obvious, Mike

Default If you have a question regarding part numbers look..

Here

You can check TT vs GT2 part numbers (or any other Porsche part number ever used).
