Sound commin from the front when the car is wet.
When I turn the steering wheel, there is a sound that comes from the front driver side of the car, (ONLY WHEN I TURN THE STEERING WHEEL) it sounds like a spring that is not being lubricated and being pulled, not really a grinding sound, but similar. And i do mean it ONLY WHEN THE CAR IS WET, the rest of the time is fine...
I heard this sound before when I just finished washing the car, but after the car is dry this sound goes away so I pretty much ignored it, but not since it's raining, and the car is constantly wet, I hear that sound all the time, and it's kind of concerning....
I checked and my steering wheel fluid reservoir is full...
Any ideas?
Thanks

what year...you do realize there are different stock wheels. which ones do you have?
Initial investigation would be to check out the suspension mounts for loose bolts, belts for tension and possible tire rubbing.

It's a 01, with hollow wheels, I looked around.. no signs of tire rub, also the sound is there even when I turn the wheel without moving, just by turning the wheel you have the sound.
I have ruled out of somehting rubbing because it does go away when the car is dry, but once I start driving on hte rain again the sound comes back....
Is this why most TT sits in the garage during the rain season??? ;-)
