FS: EVO Cold Air Intake & MAF
Barely used EVO V-Flow CAI and MAF sensor installed for a 996 Turbo, all years. $450 shipped to the lower 50 (anything else pays actual shipping charges). No International shipping. Below are a few pics. Please PM me if interested as I am closing this thread. Thanks!

The results people have with these is erratic. I had an EVO on my tt for 3K miles and had zero problems. I took it off because I got tired of the noise. wross knows his way around the tt's better than I do and he has had problems. Who knows? I do know that the one he put on his tt looks very cool and is a nice piece.

I hear you guys. But I have had KN stuff on all my cars and had a similar setup on the C4S and have had no issues.
I have to believe it is in the amount of oils and the cleanliness of the filter. Or at least that is the only thing I can figure.

I have mine up on Ebay. It does not have a MAF like the one from the OP. I'll sell it to you for $300 if you want to come pick it up.

Tim you are a sucker for punishment.. Price out a new MAF before you take the plunge.. It's not the filter my friend

No I have not. Something fishy going on there. But I have been focused on getting the car repaired at the moment.
I need to follow up on the location of it. They said they shipped it and it never arrived so I asked them WHERE was it. Never heard back

Actually it is the filter and the oil from the oiled filters blowing out the MAF. The topic's been beaten to death all over the forums. I think wross was in on the one we had going back when I first had this issue on my 996 Cab when I went to the K&N CAI. I went through 2 MAFs until I switched from the oiled K&N to a dry AEM cone filter and never blew another MAF again.
That said, this one includes a MAF installed.
