I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the background color of only the tach? Is it an individually swappable part or is the whole instrument cluster together as one? I know some places sell the overlays, but i've heard horror stories of people breaking them.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

You will have to get a set a gauges and instal only the tach. Gemballa or Techart make high quality one.

i think that fvd can sell you the tach only. they have them in different colors. the trick is having it installed correctly.

There are 2 places that I know of that can do this easily and professionally. North Hollywood Speedo and Palo Alto Speedo. Either of those places will take care of you.
