I have done 156. I am not scared to go faster but i haven't felt I have found a road that is safe enough to go faster.
what about ya'll?
what is funny is that I go faster on my gsxr 1000 all the time and I less scared on the bike.

I think you can brake your bike much quicker than a 3500 lbs. turbo. I would think that might contribute to that secure feeling.
My tops so far is 148 at Summit Point. Hope to break 150 this summer at VIR.

162 mph.... still long ways to go to beat my fastest run of 172mph back in 1997 when I had the C2S..
Now that I think about it, the 162mph was measured using my GPS... back in 1997 I had no GPS so the 172mph was based on the speedometer of the car... got to wonder what was the speedometer error at that speed in the C2S? But I can tell you that the gas pedal was pegged to the floor for a long time...

Burning Brakes
I was clocked at 171 but probably hit about 175 before pulling my foot out of the floorboard. This was on a closed course (mile run). On the street I think about 150 is the fastest I have gone (this was on a loooong open stretch of highway that is very rarely traveled).

160mph, long stretch of Texas asphalt.
Hoping to do the Texas Flying Mile someday!
Had a drive yesterday to San Antonio (+500 miles roundtrip) with the 930, hit 145mph, no problem.
Amazing for a 99% stock, 20 year-old car!

Three Wheelin'
A couple of years ago driving in Mexico, a toll road with no traffic, I hit 165 mph at which point the wife started sobbing and stating that she wasn't ready to die. Needless to say, the distraction caused me to back off. This in a 996 C4 conv. with the top closed.
