Need a realistic 03 X50 price for quick sale
Friend has a Yellow 2003 X50 with 7345 miles. Car is perfect and well maintained by the owner who is a huge Porschophile for 25 years. No track time or careless driving at all. I have driven the car and can attest to its pristine nature. I am only looking to get him a reasonable price to sell the car quickly, not sell it here. I have seen pretty high swings and do not know how to price it with the very low miles. I am helping him liquidate this car to help fund a business venture and he has decided that the Cayenne Turbo S is a better fit for him to keep.
He isn't an internet type of guy so I will be doing the listing on Craigslist, Ebay autotrader and the like, but probably not here because it isn't my car and I would not feel comfortable listing a car i didn't own on rennlist. The only downside to the car is the ugly and hopefully removable headlamp covers as well as the color matched wheels that I am not a big fan of. The car has Nav, full Carbon Fiber, color matched seat belts and is fully stock minus the aforementioned headlamp covers. Could someone also let me know if there is either a factory aero kit or if there is a aftermarket front spoiler in the picture. I am coming from 993 land and do not have the knowledge base that the rest of you possess in the 996TT area.
Thank you for the help and again, I am looking for a quick sale price to sell the car in a week or so regardless of how painful it is.

car looks/sounds clean, does it have a clean carfax? does it have all service records available? is it a 6sp or a Tip? I would say that the car is worth high 50s low 60's but if he wants to get rid of her right away he might have to go lower than that..

His business is his business, I don't know the particulars, but agree that this may not be the best thing to sell. The car is a 6 SP and has clean records and carfax. If the 58-63 is the range, I think he will sell it. Poor time to sell, but I really don't foresee prices coming up any time soon.

This is a '03 X50.
Has the bottom dropped that much for the X50?

Car is only worth 35k. PM me
Seriously; market sucks badly right now but it will NEVER be worth more. By the time the recovery is in full effect depreciation will have brought it down.
Nice miles, forget the wheels. Headlights too. Let the buyer make the change if desired.
Quick sale at $50k.

The problem with a quick sale is he won't get the premium for those low miles. I agree it could probably sell for high 50's, but it could also sit for 3-4 months holding that price. If I were him I would sell the other car, make this his daily and sell it next year with 15k miles on it for $50k which is probably what he could get in a quick sale today.

I just went to a dealer to trade mine, They were offering me 45k on my 03 X50 Tip.
$40k is current auction prices... I did my research after the fact and decided its worth to keep it.

None of the non-factory options are worth a dime in resale... I'd agree that 50k is about right, $40k if he wants the money by Friday.
His business is his business I guess.

What's the story on the headlamp bezels? Do they mount directly over the headlamps? Easy removal?
