Default Porsche driving school

I've been thinking of taking my first driving course, came across the Porsche Driving School in Alabama, 1 day course called the Precision. Will this be a good starting point for a beginner? any other suggestions, I live in greater Boston area.
Thanks in advance.

Take a European vacation and do the 2 day Precision Course in Leipzig. I talked to an instructor who has been to both schools, and his opinion is that the precision course in Leipzig is much more intensive, more like the performance training here. The 2 day Leipzig course is 1190 Euro (about $1625), the 1 day in Alabama is $1800. Sure you have to fly to Germany, drink German beer and eat their food, and may have drive on the Autobahn, but it may be worth all the trouble. Germany or Alabama? Hmmm! Food for thought.

Join the PCA and do a local DE at a local road course. The instructors are great at least around here they are and only costs about 350 for 2 days of track. Once (IF) you ever outgrow that then look for other options. By the way it is a blast and not intimidating.... You will be with people just like you... such as me. Have Fun!!!

Rocci, I am sure visiting Germany will be a lot more interesting especially if the driving school experience is better, at a glance, travel aside, Leipzig seems to be a better deal. Thx.

irie1029, I'll keep your advice in mind, perhaps I can start with the local programs while I am waiting for a trip date. Thx.

T2, IIRC you had given me this link before. I'll be sure to check it out. Thx.
