Default Help with install of new painted console

Trying to install my new BumperPlugs painted center console and all was well until tried to reinstall the storage cubby lid. It seems that the new console has two loops sticking out that the original doesn't and the lid will not attach.

Any ideas.

You'll need a new hinge kit. With that said, you have to do that for ANY lid to reinstall the lid assembly. I had to do the same thing when I bought a Tequipment "alumalook" console for my wife's CAB.

Personally I had no idea there were different attachment setups on the rear lid. Did you ping Eric? He is really good at getting back to you quickly. I'd send him this pic as well.

From the looks of it, couldn't you just dremel tool those two loops off and use your existing mounting set up?

The two loops are the older style, which normally would break off,and the hinge reapir kit would be needed. The loops are the pivot points for the hinge pin to go through along with the spring.
