So far, so good! I have quite the parts hoard started for it. Need to get caught up on some maintenance on the 996 first before I start playing with it though.

The Talon cost about as much as just an exhaust system and coilovers for the Porsche.

I wonder what a later gen GSX-T goes for these days? They were all the rage when I was in college.

Drove it to the car wash. Drove it home. Put it back up on the lift.

USB c PD charging to either fast charge with the cable or power the wireless charger for convenience. Wired to switched 12V through a pigtail on the unused phone accessory plug. The PCCM+ box, wireless adapter, and the pigtail all sit nicely behind the side panel. I attached the circuit board to the back of the cubby so it is easily accessible if needed.

I guess it could look a little cleaner using a cable with a right angle connector but I didn't have one handy. Maybe for another day.

My ceiling is 11’. It’s amazing how much bigger it felt when I got rid of the traditional opener and installed a side mount. I can go up further on the lift if I needed to - I have about 2’ above the 911 in those pictures with the lift set on the 2nd highest ladder lock.

I “think” I could get it up higher and park my Cayenne under there but I’m not gonna try until my spotter is back in town.

What brand/type of side mount did you get? I am trying to find one but not having any luck!

I believe those are discontinued. I recall some sort of security issue with the receiver but I could be mistaken.

Correct - they mated with every opener in range; mine was replaced at zero cost once we figured out it was opening six doors in my immediate laneway.
