I emailed him and we talked the next day, he said he could have one made quick but coating might be a week or 2. That was the week before xmas so maybe he wasn't busy then. Also, this is stainless, nothing exotic.

just noticed in your sig you have a V3, how do you like the drivetrain? i have a Vagon and am on the waitlist for the 5-BW but for the price i don't know if i save money and go V3, 6BW or get the last manual v8 they will ever produce...

Looks good. Curious as to why the bumper needed to be removed to install?
Noticed your sig cars too, also have a V3 and 70 240z as well..

Fired it up and ran it for half an hour.

Cannot wait to drive it next month.

Yes, but you may not take it to Alberta... Hard to believe it's been parked since October.

After months dialing in the parts, installing them, and going in circles with the settings. Finally finished the suspensión build with alignment!

Good to see you employ a safety redundancy on your Quick Jack.

....actually drove it. Broke down and drove it in the winter. We had a bunch or rain so a lot of the salt is off the roads; still felt guilty. ;-) I'll drive it again today as it'll be a balmy 49-50 degrees then I'll hit it with the washer.

haha! I did the same, and had the same feelings. Glad I’m not the only crazy person…

Also gave my new 957 GTS a good wash. The New England road salters have quite a heavy hand…

I broke down and drove my Cab today too, it was 78°F today and not a cloud in the sky so even had the top down. I almost forget what winter is like at this point.

Autowerkes has a good reputation; I don't have any personal experience, though.

I'm in Central Maine and have a good independent down the street, but I sometimes still go to Morong for service. They've been good to me since I started buying Porsches a few years ago. It's where I picked up my TT last week, though that was a coincidence more than anything else.
