Good morning to the board..I remember seeing an internal baffle mod for the 996 turbo exhaust. I seem to recall someone in Germany, as well as in the US who does this mod. Does anyone have any possible information?

IIRC there was a MacGyver mod awhile back involving accessing the internal muffler baffles with a hole saw on an extension through each finisher tip.

Drilling from 1/2" -1" hole into the baffle would increase the exhaust sound. Just realize this is the nuclear option for you stock exhaust, and if you go too far you'll have a resonance/drone issue.

there are other options too, i.e drill out the rear 400 cell cats and cut out some of the internal baffle plates without doing the basic drilling
