Default Seeking PO or History on 2002 Artic Silver at Jack Daniels Porsche

Thanks in advance for any assistance. Looks like I will be the next owner of this car, as long as the range 2 ignitions are clean. Does anyone know anything about it?

Car:

http://jack-daniels.porschedealer.co...47498/info.php

Auto check: http://www.porschedealer.com/include...5#full-history

Car has been in Hewlett NY and then northern NJ since original delivery. The first owner did all the updates. Love to find out more if anyone has details.

Thanks!

And just to head off any comments in this vein...

The very first mod is removing the fab speed sticker. That will be followed by removing the r turbo badge on the decklid! And once the dealer provides the included new badge, the ruf badge on the front is going to eBay.

The other mod is to trade the FS intake for a stock intake.

The nonstock 3 spoke is a minus in my opinion. A full leather OEM 3 spoke steering wheel is over $1400 to replace. $52K is a strong price but if that is what you want then it may be worth it to you.

Paid in the 40s, not asking. Agree on the steering wheel, although it is an airbag wheel. Will be selling that as well.

Chris - I looked at this and it may have been if it had a grey and carbon interior, I finally bought fully stock myself and paid in the 40's. I agree with all you're mods and reckon you should ditch the RUF center caps as well, they only belong on RUF wheels in my humble opinion. Thomapa1 has a good point though - you should hold onto these performance parts just in case the car feels slower

The color scheme is a bit boring, but it matches my last 911 build (an '87 with 3.8RS engine). WRT the engine it is "almost" stock. FVD Level 1 Tune and FS Air Filter with Evo Diverter Valves.

The wheels are actually stock GT2 wheels, so 8.5 and 12.5 - or so the documentation says. There are a few more items that the listing doesn't mention.

Yes, the Ruf center caps will also be seen on eBay soon.

Funny when I spoke to them they said last owner did all the mods and it was never tracked. Way overpriced. Congratulations

OP should read the post on how JD screwed up on a 993 PPI in the 993 forum if he really is friends with the GM

I'm the OP and I do my own PPIs. Not friends with the GM of JD, but I was informed that the last two owners were well known to JD and the most recent was a friend of management.

Having said all that, I bought the car today. Excellent DME report and maintenance history, and with only 16k miles, lots of life left. I'll do a separate post on my purchase "experience."
