Without being rude may I ask specs on your car as well as miles and what you paid for it? Also what maintenance has been done so far.

2001 6spd 13.2 k miles paid 47.900 two years ago. Aluminum sills/ shift surround- leather console and sun visors auto dim mirrors other options etc. The rotors were changed and new brakes due to slight cracks on rotors didn't really need to be done. The usual brake and coolant change /flush, oil changes required etc. New tires alignment . Cleaned radiators. Had auto dim rearview mirror rebuilt= leaking. Full front Expell clear bra. Nothing major or out of the ordinary. About 10k in receipts mostly from previous owner having work done at dealer and the work I paid for was by local dealer. I have no expectations of getting what I have invested back at resale= hey its a hobby lol. The car is very clean I looked at many and most were beat.

Unfortunately I am busy with my home and even though I'm retired it seems like I never have time for the fun stuff. I have a couple guys that really want it and am tempted to sell but cant bring myself to do it. If I do maybe a 993 turbo lol.

I drive my other cars more frequently and drive the turbo every weekend in the summer weather permitting. I would buy a 993 turbo and yes just enjoy owning it even if that meant collecting dust lol. I can finally afford some of the things I would have had earlier in life if I could have= better late then never.

Could not agree more but wouldn't buy unless I built another garage or sold 996tt. My garage is full with Kubota lawn mower - RTV- Rincon atv etc.

Did anyone else go looking for more pictures of Randy's TT like me? I sure am a fan of Lapis on Gray .. the irony is that we both have the same garage problem

To keep on thread, OP there's a lot of good cars out there at the 30k mark and I'd avoid a salvage title at that price point

My extensive research over past several months turned up 1 car under $30k out of around 80 found. This car had 140K miles. I found 19 cars in the $32K to $37K range. The other 60 were above $37K.

Nice plots. I would enjoy seeing tip vs. manual and modified vs. stock breakouts
