Default Got Windows Tinted, now lights in car stay on

ALL:

I got my windows re-tinted today, and when I picked the car up from the tint shop, when I close the doors, the lights NEVER turn off. When I get out of the car, the lights stay on, I try and lock the doors and the car immediately honks but doesn't lock the door. when I lock the door manually it locks, but honks and the lights stay on. I hooked up my durametric and I'm getting a current code of 46-control locking synchronization, and I get other codes 54, 33, 49 and 60…. What could the issue be?

My car honks when I try to lock it with either the front or rear hatches ajar. I know this is no help. Sry.

So either there is an OPEN compartment:
passenger door
luggage compartment lid
engine compartment lid
storage tray
glove box

or you have a bad/disconnected sensor somewhere. Has nothing to do with the tinting of course, but if they tinted the side windows, they may have disturbed a connection.

My guess is micro switches in door are going, bad or dirty. Occurrence after tint is probably coincidental.

I've only had my car a month but after a week or two, I noticed the lights stayed on all night. After that, my window drop on the drivers door isn't working properly. Makes sense that there is something not working or out of sequence with the door latch system (including the micro-switches).

Dealer quoted 600ish to replace latch. Read up, there are quite a few threads on these issues and are fixable without replacing the latch.

You might also be able to cruise around our tech articles and see if you can find something relevant to checking out your switches.
