It could be that you have a boost leak. Check the Turbo hoses first.
Or you could have a problem with the waste gates.

A quick video I've found. Not the best explanation but you'll get the point :

Yes to boost leak. Possibly a hose has come undone.
Alternately wastegates or a check valve cracked..which is essentially another "leak".

But first and foremost a leak as in a popped hose. Tug on the y pipe connections to begin. ( not ) lol
.
...although...4 is "limp mode" territory and also simple leaks are not usually as dramatic.

I believe that if you "lose" one turbo you actually get higher boost pressure because the system tries to compensate.....

here is some back story,
during acceleration it would hesitate a little and then the check engine light came on. i had the code read and it said the MAF was the issue. ordered one replaced it and now the boost is at half .4 bar.

MAF will throw errors if you have a boost leak. I personally would do a smoke test and pressure test. They are easy to do with minimal tools so long as you have an air compressor or good lungs

^ have to agree. especially if you've already thrown a NEW? maf at it and still only see .04.

thing of it is, it's a pita to pressure test if you dont have a compressor and one of the pressure test "kits" folks are making ( try marksi @ precision911? he makes/sells em ) but thats really your next step even if it's at a shop, since pressure tests for leaks are so necessary when it comes to these cars. those, and properly read codes of course. but leaks often don't throw cels! ... its probably still a leak. it doesn't take much of one to cause your issue(s). gl with it.

0.4bar most likely means you are in limp mode, CEL/codes? if you had a leak large enough to lose that much boost the car would be very undrivable all the time...
really only other alternative is the wastegates stuck/seized open, or failed N75 which should throw a code as mentioned above

With the new MAF installed disconnect the battery for an hour (to reset) and see if you get the correct boost.

We need to get a sticky for noobs..

Boost issues and LIMP MODES

1)You have to READ your codes and post them.

2)Pressure test your intake.. It is a must even for those cars that are running well.

3)Check your wastegate linkages, if they don't move >> seized or binding will result in ECU limp mode.

4) Failing fuel pump will shut down power output....
