I like the white S and the red... Both very unique.

It's easier to list the which models are NB than those that are WB. NB models are the Carrera, Carrera S, and GT3 - everything else is wide body.

Nice mod, a lot of customers order these from
us. Red is my favorite.

Thanks Petza for the clarification. It looks to me from some pics I've seen that even the "narrow body" 997 Carrera and Carrera S are much better looking from the back than the 996. Have been considering moving to a newer model if people keep trying to buy my '88 Carrera with unsolicited offers. The 996 just looks too much like a jelly bean shape, other than the 996 Turbo.

Yes, I agree and am not a fan of the 996 shape except for the C4S or Turbo where you get a little of the Coke-bottle shape - the others are all too slab sided and then you have to overcome the headlights and the interior too. The 997 was a major improvement in looks going back to the Coke-bottle shape of the 993 and the NB cars are plenty curvy. Though the 996 and 997 generations are mechanically similar, they're also not the same - early 5 timing chain motor of the 996 vs the 3 chain motor of the 997, Variocam on the 996 vs Variocam Plus on the 997, etc.

I'm in the minority I'm sure, but actually think the 997 NB is more attractive than WB where the rear fenders have a continuous curve to them instead of the relatively flat spot right in the middle, and on the NB cars, the tail lights go almost all the way to the edge of the body when looking at the rear view instead of looking inset on the WB with more fender on the outside of the lights. They're more aerodynamic as well which is why Porsche built the GT3 on the NB chassis. These are just some of the reasons I have 2 of the NB cars.

Here's my curvy NB in GT Silver.
