Default A Little Rear Decklid Bling...

Well, my ADD kicked in and I decided to swap out my all-silver 4S badge with a new red “S” from Suncoast. It took all of 5 minutes to remove the old S with some dental floss, clean the space with Goo Gone, then stick the new one on.

Before...

And after....

I think I like it

The red 'S' just looks right! The little details definitely make a big impact!

Nice. Looks like it's better positioned than the original as well, which looked crooked. 👍

Yeah, that S has been crooked since some CPO work at the Stealership almost 2 years ago when they managed to snap off the lower part of the S and replaced it misaligned. It’s always bugged me, so I figured I’d finally swap it out and add a little color back there! I was googling images of “4S badges” on my phone last night as I was trying to determine the exact correct placement, and it definitely came out looking more correct. Particularly when I compare the before & after pics. Now I have to update my profile pic in my signature

Definitely misaligned (with some towel fuzz caught under the S):

Better!

I think it looks great! I like the contrast, but I take a lot of $hit from some quarters...

Who cares what anyone else thinks, (except my wife). I like any red S and I very much like the esthetics of the white S, above! This is one of the beautiful things about these cars. You can do anything you like to make it "yours."

I have also gotten 'snark' from others... too bad. This is mine.

Are the Carrera S and Carrera 4S the same body? It looks to me like the rear ends are the same or similar but I can't tell. Isn't it similar to the turbo body?
