Indy Shop recommendation - Washington DC/Bethesda MD?
Hi all,
I'm about coming up on a year of ownership on a 2009 C2 Cab. I haven't had any issues and the dealer did oil/filter & plugs when I bought it. I'm probably due for an oil change and am looking for a good indy shop in the area. Any one in DC or Montgomery County MD have recommendations for good local shops?
Thanks..

I would second ASG. If you want to go west in NOVA, there are a couple other shops out closer to Chantilly/Sterling: Chapman Auto Werks, Intersport, and others depending on location.

Also had had good luck with Ivan and Charlie Murphy at IAS in Tyson’s Corner.
Good luck.

I bought my car from MemberCar up that way. (my profile pic is in their lot). I had mine checked out by:
From my notes when I bought it - I googled it, they still have a website:
German Auto Works
533 Southlawn Ln
Suite 2
Rockville, MD 20850
240.552.9798
Ask for Dennis. He found damn near everything that was wrong with that car. MemberCar fixed it. I am still really happy!
He really seems to know Porsches.

for basic oil change, just go to dealer. might be a tad more expensive than an indy but you also get free espresso and a loaner.
for more involved "routine / normal" maintenance AND in MoCo, check out AutoTherapy in the airpark. rough and dirty, but roger bratter is a good guy (or if you want to venture over the bridge, plenty of others such as intersport, ASG, etc)
for track performance, TPC in jessup. it's a haul but they know what theyre doing with the new stuff.
