Awww that's terrible .... Sabine was much fun to watch and she had a really fun personality ...... I am getting tired of hearing the losses we all endure due to the big "C" . I just hope one day we cure or control this thing in memory of all the people we have all lost due to it ... RIP .

I can't believe this lap, in the wet. Would have loved to see the brake/throttle data on this lap. Amazing talent! I used to think the best drink I could have with a driver would have been with Kimi. Well, probably still it but she was a contender!

Very, very sad news. I admired her so much as a driver and as a ground-breaking woman.

RIP, way too young.
I remember the videos of her Ring Taxi days, always was a bucket list item of mine.

By the way, there is now a petition going on (started by one of the Nuerburgring instructors) to have one of the corners named after her (they did this also when Stefan Bellof died (Bellof-S), so that petition should have some teeth), if you feel like it, please add your name: http://chng.it/TbVFwXLNG8
Funny side fact: the naming of corners at the Nuerburgring is a bit inconsistent:
Sometimes whole sections get a name, like Hatzenbach (my favorite obviously), Adenauer Forst, Wippermann, Klostertal etc., but they also sometimes name just a single turn, like Carousel, Kallenhard, Ex-Muehle, Mutkurve, etc.
