Convertible Top Hydraulic / Ram failure.. SOLVED!
My 996 similar to the 997 convertible top design/engineering... encountered minor leaking LH Hydraulic. Ended up finding a service through Ebay user ID (vin-number-aged). They offer a 1 year warranty or an optional 10 year!... Under $300 later my problem solved! So the volume discount is a plus (2 or more).. Yes!... for BOTH hydraulics LH & RH! I sent them out and within days received them back fully rebuilt 100% working order not to mention all cleaned up!!! They look new!!!
