Default Anyone not like the Bilstein B16 Damptronic setup?

I have a 997.2 C2S with 80k miles. I upgraded to TechArt springs and the DSC controller which was great. Now I am wondering if the shocks are getting tired and if I would notice an improvement if I refreshed them. And I need a project. I have been looking at difference between B4 / B6 / B16.

I may take the car to the track in the next few years, but in the meantime it's mostly local twistys and road trips. Found many positive reviews of those who love their B16 upgrade. So I am looking to see if there is anyone who has had a negative experience, or found the B16 too harsh / stiff / etc for daily driving.

Anyone not a fan of the B16s? Switch from B16 to something softer?

I went with HR springs and Bilstein B8's. This combo gives me a more aggressive/sporty driving experience while being able to keep the factory PASM. The way I could explain it was for me anyway, with PASM off (so normal driving) my setup feels like a factory or less aggressive 997 with PASM ON.. when PASM is on (spirited driving) my car handles/feels like a car with a decent set of coils/suspension/dialed in... So ultimately, its like driving around a 997 with PASM on 24/7 and fun mode is when I hit PASM (spirited driving only). But I live in Germany, and the roads/driving favor spirited driving (out of the city)
Are B8s not an option?
The way I understood it for 997.1's was:
B4 OEM replacement
B6 More sporty but OEM ride height
B8 Most sporty, shorter (for lowered ride height) and more stiff
B16 Complete spring/shock combo, adjustable etc etc.

I didn't, as my dd. Until I installed the DSC controller.

Though so... - your posts on this topic (which are pretty detailed) are pretty much the reason I am even considering this setup for a daily driver.
Especially considering I have the DSC already

I switched to B16s and kept the PASM (there are two versions of B16s) and love the set up. I am sure it will be even better with the DSC.

I really like mine. The beauty is with B16 PASM and a DSC controller you can program the shock response to be over sensitive or a little lazy. I contacted TPC (the manufacturer) and they were able to share program files with me. I have set it and have not touched the programming since.
