Default 2011 Speedster front lip spoiler

Is there a replica that is exact replacement for the '11 Speedster's front spoiler? It's also the same on the 2010
Sport Classic.

Darwinpro sells a carbon fiber one. I’ve always wondered about fitment. Wish someone made a decent polyurethane version of the sport classic lip.

There's a Porsche OE part. PN 997-505-983-06 G2L. About $500 to $600 from your local Porsche dealer.

Suncoast wants $715. Interesting that dealer to dealer, prices would be different.

this is not a bad price for an oem polyurethane (i think) lip. this is the speedster / gts bumper lip. You will need this lip to fit your speedster.

the CF lip above, while beautiful (my brother and friends have them), only fits Carerra bumpers.

how’s the fit and finish on your brothers Carrera? I would be fitting this onto a C2S. Hard to tell if the Darwin pro is an exact replica

Suncoast has consistently high prices. OEMluxuryparts.com (which I think is Porsche Princeton) and sunsetporscheparts.com are usually cheaper. My local dealer will meet or beat online prices, especially when shipping costs are factored in. The spoiler lip is a big part so shipping is costly

I recently bought the Sport Classic/Speedster lip from Sunset Porsche for $544, including shipping. It comes already primered and ready for paint.

There is a trick to getting it to fit 'perfectly' but will require silicon glue which makes the removal difficult , if not impossible. But the fitment will still look excellent.

The finish of it is very good quality, but of course i would PPF it - and be aware that a lowered car will scrape it (if not damage it).

Also, it's not a replica at all of the oem speedster lip, but it's close. the vents are moved slightly (and look smaller) - while the center + side 'bands' of the lip appear visually thicker then the oem one. but imo it still does look very, VERY good overall.

I've uploaded some photos for you below. I want the lip myself ever since i got the rear wing + side splitters. After while I will sell my beautiful werks1 CF lip. With the side splitters, the werks1 lip is no longer visually 'enough' to balance out the rest of the car.

This fake-speedster lip - fully wraps around and is of a good thickness, it really does ALOT to transform the basic carerra front bumper.

some photos

this red one is from a member on this forum, i believe it got it a decade ago and is a fibre glass lip. nonetheless the CF one that is available today shares the same mold. Since it is painted, you can see how the edge of the lip near the wheelWell, looks thicker then that of the oem speedster lip. I don't think its a huge deal.

to get perfect fitment (and avoid the tiny gap at at the bottom the airDuct n the attached photo) - silicone glue must be applied to the bottom of the bumper, and the lip is to be taped up for 24 hours as in the install photo. This will yield perfect fitment.

I wish the front fitment was better. That would bug me. Maybe a body shop could heat mold to fit better
