Costco tire mounting & balancing?
Costco has a $150 promo on a set of 4 Michelins. They do carry 235/35/19 and 295/30/19 but availability is hit or miss. Pricewise the total out-the-door cost is much less than buying from Tire Rack and getting them mounted elsewhere.
That said, I'm wondering how Costco's quality is. The last thing I want is a scratched rim or a badly balanced tire.

I've not had my 911 there mostly due to my local Costco becoming more expensive, having spotty inventory and requiring scheduled installs days out which isn't any better than the local shop. Last 3 cars went to the competition. They install a lot of tires and there customer service is very good so I wouldn't be concerned about rim damage there if I were to go back.

I had them installed on my 911c2s w/305’s in the rear. Definitely cheaper than any other place that I called. They use nitrogen and you can stop by when ever you want to if you need them filled.

I’ve used Costco twice. No issues and both times they demonstrated very well they knew how to do their job.

I'm another vote in favor of Costco. Purchased a set of Michelin PS4S in February, took the wheels to them and they let me stand in the bay and watch the mounting/balancing. They were quick, professional, took care of my wheels, and left me a happy customer.

I also had good experience with Costco. No marks on my freshly powder-coated rims. I installed new Huf IntelliSens TPMS sensors myself from TPMSdirect.com that were only $130 for a set of four. The icing on the cake is Costco's road hazard warranty is 5 years, Tire Rack is only 2 years.

PS4S have been ordered - I found that their website usually has inventory in the late afternoon, early evening. My Costco store carries the TPMS service packs (I'm assuming there's no need to replace the sensors themselves but please correct if wrong). They also hand torque lug nuts.
