Hmmm...I believe that those part numbers are good for all 997.2 gen but unsure as they were installed on my 997.2 4S and I don't recall if they will work with other flavors but I suspect yes for at least the S brakes.

They definitely are much less dirty than OEM and performance is very similar.

You have to install them with the OEM brake pads shims, otherwise you'll get a clicking sound everytime you brake. Ask me how I know...

I'll order these from Suncoast to be sure.

Yes, i was wondering the same. I am wondering if the GTS brakes are the same as S brakes.

If so, then these will definitely fit.

Thanks! I am just needing to verify if the 997.2s brakes are the same as the 997.2 GTS brakes.

Trying to look up these part numbers for a 997.1 C2S, to see if they're also available in European shops.

Found these on Hawk's website:
FRONT:REAR:So why do they have 2 types of front pads for 997.1, while both seem to have identical features?

Searching the website of a Dutch distributor only comes up with the HB667Z.622's.

I also have a base 997.2 but in trying to get the correct pads I've found some very conflicting part numbers (Hawk directly, Tire Rack, etc.).

So can you please give me the Hawk Part Number for the pads that you installed??

I ordered these part numbers for my 2009 base 997.2:
Fronts: HB719Z.668 (ordered from TireRack, had best price at the time)
Rears: HB664Z.634 (ordered from UROTuning, had the best price at the time)

But double check https://www.hawkperformance.com or https://www.hawkpadsdirect.com to make sure there aren't any superseded part numbers.

As posted above, I also replaced the sensors and dampening pieces (Suncoast)

I will be ordering the following part numbers for my 997.2 GTS

HB667Z.622 Front
HB664Z.634 Rear

I got these according to all previous post and confirming on https://www.hawkperformance.com

Tire Rack is the cheapest from all websites I've seen. Will also be ordering the sensors and dampening pieces from Suncoast.

Thanks so much for your help in finding the correct p/n for my car's pads.

Regarding the sensors and dampening pieces you mention, can you give me more insight?
  • How many sensors should I order?
  • Dampening pieces? What are they? How many did you need? Part number and/or where are they located?
Thanks again for your input.

No problem. I made it easy on myself and emailed Suncoast. They setup what I needed.

Install is pretty straight forward. The dampers stick to the back of the brake pads. What happens is the caliper piston presses the damper which presses on the back of the pad.

2008 C2S Cab with 87,000 miles, daily driver with lots of fun curves on the way to work.

Just two comments to add to this discussion --

1. The Hawk ceramic street pads wear really, really well in my experience. I put mine on at 23,616 and still have them on at 87,000 with the front at 6mm and the rear at 8mm.

2. The brake dust is noticeably less, but they are not dustless. In my experience, I clean my wheels every *other* wash (I have the infamous Sport Design with 15 spokes) instead of every wash. If you let them go a while, you will end up with a brown film on your wheels and they will look dirty. However, the brown does not show up as much as the OEM black dust, it builds up perhaps 1/3 as fast, and it seems like it is easier to clean.
