Interior is sea blue with comfort seats... I'm leaning towards the sport adaptive seats but its really just too expensive.. what are our options... i want comfortable with adequate support for the whole back specially the lower back and should be aesthetically pleasing with the interior of our 997s

2nded. I really like the sports seats and the pricing isn't astronomical yet. Mind you, the way things are going not sure you can lose money on seats so if a nice set of adaptives pop up ... why not.

Same vote. Have put them into 3 928s (991 version into one of them) and made an office chair out of another one. The 997 version sits a little better than the 991 version IMO, especially if you like to lean your head on the headrest as the headrest is more upright.

There's also no difference in the way the power adaptive seat sits vs the manual one.

One of my first 997's (#3 a 2007 C4S) had Adaptive Sport Seats. They were nice. Since then I have had the regular seats in the next 3 997's.
I find the regular seats very comfortable - At 64 and body full of sports injuries & hard to get in and out of 997, it surprises me to hear so many 997 owners wanting better seats.
Just my observation.

Agreed on either adaptive sport seats plus (full electronic adjustment) or sport seats plus (backrest electronic adjustment). I had standard ventilated seats in my 7.2 C2S. Didn’t like them. Not sporty at all to me. Have the 2 way sport seats plus in my 7.1 GT3, they’re amazing.

I'm with you rick. I don't know what it is about the regular seats but I can never find the perfect position. Truth be told I'm good for an hour and then my right cheek starts to go numb a bit. Good news is I only travel 45 minutes away in it. I don't see how people are doing cross country trips in that seat. I was thinking sport seats myself. I do see some nice recaro seats come up for sale sometimes. If you go sport seats I'd budget the money to have the hardbacks painted. That way you really feel like you got something new and special.
