Default C4S.1 Rear Bumper to .2 RS GT3

Hi can anyone please advise me sorry I am new to this ! I have a C4s .1 and have a OEM RS GT3 .2 rear bumper I want to fit.

Has anyone done this ? I am unsure what parts - parts list I need to buy to carry out this mission.

As it stands now I only have the Bumper with the grills fitted and a center exhaust heat shield so far.

I've heard that's it's been done, but the GT3 is narrow body and C4S is wide body. I had a narrow body bumper (from PO) on my C4 and the sides didn't fit properly.

.2 GT3 and GT3 RS are both widebody IIRC.

The .1 GT3 is NB

Im not sure about the GT3 RS but the 997.2 GT3 is most definitely NB.

Checkout my build thread - i went from 997.1 CS -> 997.2 GT3 and have a part list of everything for my conversion and you can cross reference it.

Regular GT3 is NB. GT3 RS is WB.

Both of the cars in question are wide body but your .1 C4S has exhaust tips on each side of the rear bumper, whereas the GT3 has a center exit exhaust, so you’ll need to fabricate a custom exhaust. Also, the rear tail light shapes are different .1 vs .2, so you’ll also need to convert your rear taillights to .2 to fit any .2 bumper.

Honestly, if you do indeed have an oem .2 GT3 RS rear bumper, I’d imagine you could get good money for it. I’d sell it and get a .1 RS rear bumper or an after market .1 GT3 style rear bumper with the side exhaust outlets. No idea if this is junk or not, but a quick google search returned this one, which I imagine would be way less of a headache to fit.

If you want help sorting out what you need you can DM me.

My full exhaust is from FVD and it’s amazing, headers back cost about $10k

Total OEM parts for the bumper are around $3800.

I did all the install and test fit myself, and didn’t have to cover shipping on large parts thanks to pickup.

You'll also need tails and modules - about $2500 unless you buy used ones.

Paint is another story

Thanks for the heads up yes I am aware of the lights and exhaust all reddy in stock. I was thinking of going back to the .1rs gt3 bumper but i've jumped and committed
I already have a Getty deck lid and full carbon wing kicking around the garage so keeping the back end .2
Yes the oem rsgt3 bumper is on the bench as well it does ose look nice.
Just trying to get some feedback if someone one has done it to a wide body .1 C4 s before to see if there's any parts of the old c4s i can keep to remount the new bumper

If it's anything like the C2S -> GT3, You'll need the heat shields (main larger one, as well as the two brackets for the mufflers) - otherwise it will block the side vents.
And the bumper center support: 997-505-641-03 as the bolts for aligning the bumper are slightly different under the engine lid. Everything else bolted up.

My parts list is attached - I would cross reference the "KATALOG" for the 997.1 C4 and the 997.2 GT3RS and cross check the other parts.
