Default Low Dust Pads and Stainless Steel Brake Lines Recommendations

Hello Rennlisters,

I am looking for recommendations on low dust brake pads that perform at least as well as OEM pads do as well as Stainless Steel brake lines. This is 99% a street driven car with 5% of my drives on the b-roads.

Also if anyone can recommend me a good street fluid that would be great!

Hawk Ceramic Pads - https://www.hawkperformance.com/part...h_type=vehicle

Goodridge SS Brake Lines - https://www.goodridge.co.uk/collections/porsche-997 (These are slotted so they fit the factory slots for the mount brackets)

Running both on my 997. Zero issues, similar performance to factory pads.

I’ve got a set of Hawk Ceramics for sale if you’re interested. They’re my go-to for low dust. Only selling because I swapped my brakes to pccb

Hawk ceramics are good. Both these and the stainless lines I recently installed are available at Tire Rack.

Hawk Ceramics are an option.

Carbotech 1521's are probably the lowest dusting option we carry.

Keep in mind low dust pads are not meant for any track/autocross driving.

Do new brake lines actually make a noticeable difference?

I run Motul RBF600 in all my cars so I only have to stock one type for bleeding.

Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines are the highest quality available. They used Porsche-specific stainless fittings from Switzerland and the rest of the parts are sourced, assembled, and tested in the USA (Ohio).
