Nice
Beautiiful car! Enjoy it! I am going to wait for an '06 997 or 997S (need to decide) and will no doubt add the Carnewal pedals and clear side markers.... Does anyone know if the Carnewal pedals for the 996 will fit the 997 (especially the footrest on the left)
Thanks!

Silly question... Does anybody have a picture of the 997 with the Carewal pedals? Now the silly part. If you run to your car in the rain jump in do your feet tend to slip on the pedals because they are metal and not rubber?

Beautiful car and you are just cruel Robert. I'm sitting here in the office in Raleigh, NC after a brief snow storm that has shut the town down. The traffic is stopped and I am stuck. Wish I was in San Diego.
The car is gorgeous. My 997 S is also black on black. Congratulations!

As for slip, mine aren't installed yet so can't comment but I don't think it will be an issue..

Congratulations, Robert.
The Carrera Classic wheels are especially beautiful, particularly with black--really striking.
Forgive my straying off topic for a moment; looking for info from anyone in this group: I am weighing 997S order for spring or summer--couple of western Pennsylvania dealers still have unused allocations--(sshhhh!)
I am stalling a bit while awaiting further definitive word on one must-have option for me: satellite radio. This will be my dream car, and in the course of business doing significant freeway travel, I insiston having all the creature comforts such as sat radio (my 3-year old BMW had it with integrated display, why can't the 997?).
Dealer has told me that it will be approx. $960 option and that sat radio must be prepped at the factory. Currently, dealer's computer will not accept sat radio option. Further, there is no ETA for availability.
I noticed your outgoing 996 has satellite radio. Was it a dealer installed item, and how does Sirius display tie in (or does it?) with your PCM/radio display in the 996? Thanks in advance for any information.
Tina

Nice job Robert. I am sure when my 997 S cab comes this spring I'll probably sleep in it the first weekend. I love the wheels. I ordered the same set. Color combo is great also. It would be nice to see a side shot. Enjoy and congratulations again. Us "waiters" envy you guys.
